Mark Fenton is host of the PBS television series "America is Walking." Fenton has been a consultant to the University of North Carolina's Pedestrian and Bicycle Information Center and an instructor in the walkable community workshop series of the Washington, D.C.-based National Center for Bicycling and Walking. The MIT-trained engineer has written numerous research articles on exercise science and community design. Other speakers include Tom Norman, Director of NCDOT Division of Bicycle and Pedestrian Transportation; Greg Jackson, Director of Greensboro Parks and Recreation; & Merle Green, Director, Guilford County Dept.of Public Health.
